A Setting That Holds Space for What Matters Most

Some of life’s most meaningful gatherings are about remembrance, gratitude, and the quiet honoring of someone who shaped our lives. These moments deserve a setting worthy of them: not a sterile banquet room, but somewhere alive with beauty, peace, and natural grace.

Living Well Event Center offers 4.5 private acres of ancient redwood forest in the Santa Cruz Mountains, with a 150-foot water garden and waterfall, a fruit orchard, a fire pit, and sweeping views of Monterey Bay. It is a place where the natural world provides its own form of comfort, where guests can walk quietly among the trees, gather around the fire, and feel the presence of something larger than any single moment.

Greg and Patty are experienced, compassionate hosts who understand how much care these occasions require. Both are ordained officiants, available to lead or co-lead ceremonies with you. We are honored to be trusted with these most tender gatherings, and we approach them with the gentleness and respect they deserve.

Pricing

Priced by How Late Your Day Runs

Not by how many guests you bring, and not by what you are celebrating. Every block begins at 9:00 AM and covers any guest count up to 100. You choose when your day ends.

Any date from November through March receives the Sunday to Thursday rate, any day of the week. Every block opens at 9:00 AM, so there is room for setup, an early ceremony, or a morning session without paying for the evening. You are never required to use the full block. Outdoor amplified music stops at 10:00 PM under the Santa Cruz County noise ordinance, which only affects a Full Day booking, since every other block finishes at 9:00 PM or earlier.

No service charge. No administrative fee. No food and beverage minimum. No preferred-vendor markup. No per-guest fee. And no different price depending on what you are celebrating. The two tables above are the complete cost of an event here, and there is nothing underneath them.
