ACTION® Roadmap (60-90 Minutes In-Person Or Online)

Are you ready to take the reins of your life to redesign your future? While none of us has complete control of what happens to us, we do have some control in what we strive for, where we focus our attention, and how we set our intentions.

Please join us to gain practical tips for bringing more joy into your life. You will learn easy-to-use techniques for focusing on what is working in your life and gathering more of what brings you both personal and professional fulfillment. Research by Barbara Fredrickson, Brené Brown, Robert Emmons, Martin Seligman, and others pave the way for you to test and apply these strategies in your own life.

Psychological Safety In The Workplace (60-90+ Minutes In-Person Or Online)

Psychological safety is the shared belief among team members that the team is safe for interpersonal risk taking. Project Aristotle, a research initiative conducted by Google, studied the effectiveness of teams across the organization. After analyzing data from many angles, it zeroed in on psychological safety, more than anything else, as the key to team effectiveness and performance.

In this course, you will learn how you can help create a psychologically safe work environment. We will look at research by Amy Edmonson, Barbara Fredrickson, Carol Dweck, and others to tap into their best practices for a more positive work culture. You will walk away with practical tips for increasing positivity and psychological safety in your organization and your home

Resilience In Uncertain Times (60 Minutes In-Person Or Online)

Do you find it easy to demonstrate compassion for others but less able to give yourself those same kindnesses? Many of us instinctively know how to soothe another’s pain or offer a kind word to others but are less able to apply the same care to ourselves in difficult times. If you find yourself using critical, judgmental, or even destructive language in your internal thoughts about yourself, please join us for a two-part series where will explore our habitual thoughts, celebrate our strengths, and work towards a kinder relationship with ourselves.

Drawing on research, this class will provide practical tools you can apply to be kinder and gentler with yourself. You will learn how self-compassion and professional success are inextricably linked for professional fulfillment.

Knowing And Using Your Strengths With StrengthsFinder® (90 Minutes In-Person Or Online)

This course is designed to help you focus on your unique talents that can be developed into true strengths. According to the Gallup Organization, individuals who use their talents and strengths each day are six times more likely to be engaged in their work, their careers, and their lives. During this facilitated course, you will see new ways to view yourself and your co-workers. We each have talents and when we honor the talents in ourselves and in others, we can create a powerful and positive work environment.

Join us to:

• Learn the difference between talents and strengths
• Identify ways to develop your talents into strengths
• Find ways to use your talents each day and support others to do the same
As a part of this course, participants will receive a code for the Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment. Participants are asked to complete this 45-minute online assessment prior to class. The tool identifies your top five talents from the list of 34 potential strengths. Attendees are asked to bring this list of top 5 strengths to class.

Become A Positive Energizer (60 Minutes In-Person Or Online)

You probably have come across a few positive energizers in your life: the people that seem to effortlessly light up a room, cheer you up when you are down, and infuse energy to everything and everyone they touch. Join us to expand your personal power, upgrade your mindset, and learn how to positively impact those around you. Drawing on research from Kim Cameron and others, you will learn how to seek “positive deviance,” ask energizing questions, reset your view of “failure,” and take ownership of your future. Walk away with life-enhancing skills that can easily be put into practice, improving both your professional life and personal well-being.

Positivity In The Workplace (60 Minutes In-Person Or Online)

Based on research by Martin Seligman, PhD, known as the father of positive psychology and author of “Flourish”, and Barbara Fredrickson, PhD, author of Positivity, this seminar will give you practical tips for increasing positivity in your work and home life. You will gain insights on why we tend to gravitate towards and remember the negative experiences in our lives and how we can increase the ratio of positive to negative interactions throughout each day.

Our Need For Self-Compassion (60 Minutes In-Person Or Online)

In this interactive workshop, you and your team will learn practical self-care tools and strategies for incorporating self-compassion into a busy lifestyle. Research-based topics include simple breathing techniques, compassion for self and others, mindfulness, gratitude, visualization and more.
